To make our trip a lot more special, we got to wear one of our favorite designers, Mangishi Love – they also happen to have some awesome ready-to-wear pieces on sale (yes, SALE).
Once at the festival we got a chance to do a little ‘style spotting’ of some of the “thunderers”.

Whilst in Livingstone, we stayed in a quaint little hotel on John Hunt Way and we couldn’t resist the urge to take a few shots in their minimalist rooms.
Rather serendipitous, we met Iris of Wayawaya, a Livingstone based bag brand whose pieces are produced as part of an initiative to support underprivileged women living in Livingstone. We loved their cross between simplicity and complex patterns. Watch this space for a more in-depth look at this great brand.
As you probably can already tell, we had a pretty busy weekend, and along side ZMA Influencer, Amy and Hot FM Radio DJ, Katala we went off to see the beautiful, and iconic, Mosi-oa-Tunya Waterfalls.

Then it was off to the Livingstone Golf Course for what was sure to be a great night!
After a great night of celebration and amazing performances, it was time to head back to Lusaka, but not without donning these beautiful and ultra comfy Mangishi Love pieces.

Had a great time in Livingstone and at the Day of Thunder festival, cannot wait to do it again next year!
