At Home With Kamanga Wear

This year for us is all about buying Zambian, about exploring the possibilities and learning more about Zambian fashion, it’s designers – and what they are about!

In this Spotlight post we are at home with Kamanga Wear, a premier destination for the fashion enthusiast that seeks chitenge ready-to-wear. The first time we met Christina and Donna, the ladies behind the brand, was at Zambia Fashion Week 2013.

(We remember being positively taken by Donna’s outfit and hair!)

Fast forward a couple of years and we’ve had a great time working with Kamanga Wear on projects including ‘Fashion Yapa Zed’ along with Zed Hair and Fortress Media Photography.

So, when Kamanga Wear invited us to have fun with pieces from their SS15/16 collection, we did just that.

Many thanks to the amazing Samba Yonga of Ku-Atenga Media for lending us her beautiful space!

               That said, enjoy!
